About Us
South of Pearl makes its home in the historical “Boatwright House". Built in 1900, this beautiful home was acquired by J Todd Hardee, Funeral director and County Coroner, in 2015. After a complete remodeling to original standards, Hardee opened a neighborhood restaurant and community venue. He, along with a great staff, provide lunch service Monday through Friday.
“We say The Blessing at 11:30 and we close at 2" Our lunch buffet is produced from as much local fare as possible. We use heirloom receipts and we make our food from scratch. We are available for nightly events and for dinners parties of 30 or more people.

Each day of the week we offer fried chicken, baked chicken, and another meat, fresh vegetables, crisp salad bar, and our homemade banana pudding. These items never change. We have them everyday of the week!
We change vegetables daily and we have an alternate meat
Banana Pudding is included with your meal. We also offer homemade pound cake!
